Virtue and Honor [Scrapped Princess, Leo, PG]
Title: Virtue and Honor
Series: Scrapped Princess
Rating: PG
Genre: Vignette
Words: 100
Notes/Warnings: Done for 'virtue is the fount whence honour springs' for 31_days @ LJ. End of series spoilers.
Summary: Leopold finally answered his questions on honor.
Disclaimer: Scrapped Princess copyright Ichiro Sakaki and this derivative work was created without permission.

People often asked Leo why he had chosen to side with the Scrapped Princess over the Church of Mauser. What divine revelation had lead him to support her in what limited way he could as a knight in training?

Shannon had an opinion on the matter, but Leo thought it was better not to anger a possible future brother-in-law by arguing with him.

Leo just put it like this -- when faced with orders to kill an innocent girl, one obviously couldn't do it. Honor or not, it was the right thing to do.
