The Moon in Eclipse [Escaflowne, Allen & Celena, G]
Title: Moon in Eclipse
Fandom: Escaflowne
Rating: G
Genre: Vignette
Words: 100
Notes/Warnings: Done for '3 nightmares' for [info]12dayschristmas. End of series spoilers.
Summary: Celena by day and night.
Disclaimer: Vision of Escaflowne copyright Shoji Kawamori and this derivative work was created without permission.

During the day, Celena seemed a normal young lady, considering. True, there were wide gaps in her education, and she could be very distant on the one hand, and a bit difficult. But, every day she got better and better, a waxing moon growing towards full.

At night, though, she shook with some unknown nightmare that pained her brother to see. When Allen asked about it, a shadow crossed her face, bringing it into eclipse, and she answered in monosyllables.

Allen could only hope they faded with time, and her nights would become as bright as as her days had.
